Horizontal Talent is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead planning and delivery of infrastructure projects across data center environments, including new builds, expansions, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of project management experience in data center or infrastructure environments.
• Solid understanding of data center infrastructure including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and networking.
• Experience managing complex, multi-vendor projects.
• Ability to work independently while staying highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to align project tasks and technical solutions with business requirements.
• Willingness and ability to travel to other facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data center projects from planning through execution and closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans
• Coordinate with facilities, infrastructure, network, and external vendor teams to support successful project outcomes
• Manage project activities related to design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning
• Track progress, identify issues, and help drive resolutions to keep projects on time and within budget
• Support safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements throughout the lifecycle of each project
• Contribute to capacity planning and long-term data center strategy initiatives
• Travel to other locations within the DFW area as needed to support project needs

• Strong initiative and the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
