Job summary

Poltrona Frau Group North America is seeking a Project Manager to join our Customer Interiors division in New York, supporting the development and execution of custom interior projects from opportunity through completion.

Reporting to the Sales Director, Custom Interiors – North America, you will coordinate projects across clients, architects and designers, ensuring milestones, timelines and deliverables meet our elevated luxury standards.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, client management, sales, interiors, furniture, architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously in a client-facing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate custom interior projects from initial opportunity through order and delivery, ensuring projects remain organized, on schedule, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Coordinate project requirements, specifications, timelines, and deliverables across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, architects, interior designers, dealers, and other project partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Interiors and A&D teams to develop and support project opportunities.
  • Work with the dealer network to support the successful execution and conversion of custom projects.
  • Partner with internal teams to coordinate custom product requirements and ensure accurate communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project milestones, outstanding actions, and deadlines, proactively identifying and communicating potential issues or delays.
  • Coordinate changes and help resolve project-related questions while maintaining clear communication among all stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and design professionals, delivering a consistently elevated customer experience.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying additional opportunities within existing client and design relationships.
  • Maintain accurate project and opportunity information and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support a seamless transition from project development through order fulfillment and delivery.

About the Role

Poltrona Frau Group North America is seeking a Project Manager to join our Customer Interiors division in New York, supporting the development and execution of custom interior projects from initial opportunity through completion.

Reporting to the Sales Director, Custom Interiors – North America, the Project Manager will coordinate custom projects and serve as a key point of contact across clients, architects, interior designers, dealers, and internal teams. The Project Manager will help ensure that project requirements, timelines, specifications, and deliverables are effectively coordinated while maintaining the elevated level of service expected of a luxury design organization.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and relationship-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, design-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business/project management tools.
  • Experience within the luxury furniture, interior design, architecture, hospitality, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of custom furniture, bespoke interiors, or high-end design solutions is a plus.
Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.

This position also includes a commission opportunity tied to Customer Interiors referrals and project conversions, including:

  • 1.0% commission when a lead is referred from Customer Interiors to the A&D Manager.
  • 1.5% commission on orders for custom products through the Customer Interiors division when an opportunity is referred from A&D.
