Alair Homes Arlington is seeking a Project Manager for Custom Homes & Renovations. You will lead projects from planning through closeout, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate homeowners with a network of professionals.

Qualifications

• Strong ownership, organization, and communication are required to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish: planning, permitting, scheduling, construction, walkthroughs, and closeout.
• Own budgets and schedules: track costs, timelines, change orders, milestones, and resolve issues proactively.
• Coordinate homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, and partners to keep work moving.
• Build client relationships: inform clients, set expectations, communicate changes, and support decisions.
• Stay organized and use technology: maintain records, logs, budgets, and change orders in digital tools.
• Solve problems: adapt to changes and follow through until issues are resolved.
• Protect quality and accountability: monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and codes.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through on commitments, embraces technology, and enjoys figuring things out. You don't necessarily need a traditional construction background. If you're resourceful, comfortable working with people, and motivated to take ownership of projects from start to finish, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Manage projects from start to finish: Coordinate planning, pre-construction, permitting, scheduling, construction, final walkthroughs, and project closeout.
• Own budgets and schedules: Track project costs, timelines, change orders, and milestones. Identify potential issues early and work proactively to resolve them.
• Coordinate people and priorities: Work with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, and other partners to keep projects moving forward.
• Build client relationships: Keep clients informed, set clear expectations, communicate changes, and help them navigate decisions throughout the process.
• Stay organized and use technology: Maintain accurate project records, schedules, daily logs, budgets, and change orders using Buildertrend, Procore, or other digital tools.
• Solve problems: Adapt when plans change, take responsibility for finding solutions, and follow through until issues are resolved.
• Protect quality and accountability: Monitor project progress, workmanship, jobsite safety, and compliance with applicable building codes and project specifications.
• Improve how we work: Collaborate with leadership and the team to strengthen processes, share ideas, and continuously improve project delivery.

Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, or similar software is helpful, but the ability and willingness to learn digital tools are essential.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $85,000 and up, based on experience and qualifications.
• Earning potential: Successful Project Managers earn in excess of $150,000 per year.
• Performance incentives: Potential performance-based incentives, subject to the company's compensation plan.
