Job summary

Lawrence Fabric & Metal Structures, Inc is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all phases of custom awning, canopy, and tension structure projects from post-sale through completion. You’ll be the primary liaison between our team and customers, ensuring design intent, specifications, production schedules, and installation plans are executed smoothly.

In this fast-paced, employee-owned environment, you will lead design-to-installation efforts, perform site surveys, coordinate with CAD designers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• Project Management Certification preferred; OSHA 30, PROCORE, and AEW/Manlift certs required or obtainable.
• 2–4 years of project coordination, technical design, or custom fabrication experience.
• Strong design/technical acumen; proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from design through installation, primary customer contact.
• Conduct site surveys and field measurements to guide design/installation.
• Collaborate with CAD designers and shop teams for production-ready solutions.
• Prepare production orders, BOMs, and purchase orders.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, and production tracking to keep jobs on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols; zero incidents goal.
• Troubleshoot fabrication or installation issues with field crews.
