Job summary

Custom Metal Contracting Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead bids and manage projects across Western Canada and the USA. The role requires extensive knowledge of building envelopes, metal fabrication, and coordination with owners, GCs, and field teams.

You will read blueprints, prepare take-offs, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining budget. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of project management experience in architectural metal panels, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of Project Management in Architectural Metal Panels.
• Read blueprints, shop drawings, specs with understanding of construction and architectural structure.
• Experience coordinating with owners, GCs, shops, admin and field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage projects from start to finish.
• Prepare material take-off lists including panel materials and fastening.
• Order materials and track delivery lead times.
• Attend pre-bid construction meetings and participate in site/shop inspections.
• Prepare submittals including shop drawings and data sheets.
• Ensure projects are executed within budget and manage change orders.
• Maintain relationships with customers, architects, and contractors.
