Job summary

HSB Technical Ltd in Havant, UK, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee full project lifecycles in critical power installations. You will work in a Projects and Design team, coordinating engineers, customers, and suppliers to deliver on time, within budget and to specification.

The role is office-based, with occasional travel and a focus on end-to-end delivery from quotation to commissioning. A full UK driving licence is required, and candidates with experience in electrical installations or

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management.
• Ideally experience in an engineering, industrial installation or technical environment.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to manage large-scale, installations and smaller remedial works.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of project delivery from initiation through to completion.
• Ability to manage project risks, resources, budgets and deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence due to travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of project delivery from initiation through to completion and closure.
• Create detailed project plans and manage project resources effectively.
• Monitor project progress to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery per contract specs.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently across various sizes.
• Work with Installation Engineers to meet deadlines and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supply chain partners.
• Identify and address project risks proactively.
• Lead health, safety and environmental compliance across projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Manage projects from quotation through to installation, commissioning and completion.
• Coordinate supplier lead times and engineering requirements.
• Monitor schedules and achieve key milestones.
• Maintain project documentation and contractual requirements throughout lifecycle.
• Adapt to changing priorities across a varied portfolio.
• Provide effective updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Utilise project management and engineering knowledge across the lifecycle.
