Job summary

Electrical Energy Experts is seeking a Project Manager to oversee electrical acceptance testing and maintenance projects from bidding through completion. You will lead schedules, manage budgets, assess risk, delegate tasks, and maintain strong client relationships while coordinating with purchasing, engineering, safety, field supervision, contractors and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of HV, MV, and LV systems; general construction safety knowledge; OSHA 10 certification.
• PMP and Professional Engineer certifications are a plus.
• Experience at a NETA Accredited company is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to job sites 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project & account management, scheduling milestones, and financial tracking.
• Nurture customer relations and manage expectations.
• Manage change orders and their impact on project progression; coordinate material procurement and billing.
• Analyze project specs and plans; determine materials take-off and submit estimates.
• Maintain customer relationships and manage large accounts; target $1M in new business annually.
• Conduct jobsite visits and meetings; collaborate with field staff and site superintendents.
• Mentor assistant PMs and PMs; assume responsibility for project outcomes and financials.
