Project Manager - Construction

The Musco Construction Services Team has an opening for a Project Manager in Mississippi. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!

Essential Criteria
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a technical field preferred; relevant work experience also considered as an alternative.
  • Good interpersonal skills a must, including the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and understand project specifications, construction, and electrical drawings.
  • Must be computer‑oriented; Word and Excel skills are necessary.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
  • Team and goal oriented.
Roles And Responsibilities
  • Review project and identify all details to be included in the scope of work.
  • Develop scope of work and create request for quote (RFQ) for subcontractors; work with Musco’s Sales Representative on pricing when needed.
  • Attend pre‑construction meetings with customers, sales, and contractors to assure accurate information of installation; coordinate project details, installation and delivery arrangements with Sales and Engineering.
  • Provide onsite training with customer or contractors to ensure that Musco products are installed correctly.
  • Field technical questions from all groups involved in project installation (reps, contractors, customers, etc.).
  • Identify, communicate, and implement change orders; track installation and approve invoices.
  • Provide weekly progress reports to project stakeholders.
  • Lead final inspections and project close‑out documentation.
  • Manage 25‑35 projects to completion yearly.
  • Travel to projects weekly; overnight travel typically two to four days a week, subject to change as demand requires. Company vehicle provided.
