Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Project Manager in Santa Ana, CA to lead the operations team and ensure services are delivered per contract, on budget, and on schedule with high quality. The role requires collaboration with owners, clients, architects, and subcontractors, plus active budgeting, reporting, and change-order support.

The ideal candidate has a BA in a related field and at least 3 years in construction/landscaping, strong MS Office skills, and proven communication abilities;

Qualifications

• BA in Landscape Architecture, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction/landscaping industry with extensive field/build experience.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), scheduling, project management, and digitizing software.
• Strong work ethic and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with the operations team to deliver services per contract specifications, on budget, according to schedule, with high quality.
• Manage cost reports, analyze budget variances, and recommend strategies to lower project costs; review labor quantities and phases to facilitate accurate project tracking
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly job billings
• Assist in the preparation of change orders and coordinate receivables and collections
• Serve as the main point of contact and trusted advisor to the customer on project installation issues
• Gather and analyze customer needs and interests; build strong business relationships and provide solutions
• Provide customers with clear information about our products and services
• Ensure that all jobs are completed according to plans, on budget, and deadlines
• Deliver timely reports, financials, schedules, and budgets regularly
• Inspect all field work, analyzing and resolving problems
• Collaborate with the internal team to convert construction projects to long-term maintenance contracts
• Manage accurate monthly costs to complete reports, including backlog forecasting
• Responsible for the overall financials of the projects
• Ensure services are delivered according to contract specs and drawings, on schedule
• Represent the company and build relationships with owners, clients, architects, GCs, and subcontractors
• Demonstrate ethics, integrity, and promote safety, quality, and customer service
