Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction and engineering projects from planning through commissioning and closeout. You will coordinate project activities, maintain schedules and budgets, and ensure work is completed safely and in line with quality and regulatory expectations.

You will collaborate with clients, contractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to drive successful project execution, including TOCC transfers and handover of building systems.

Qualifications

• 4-9 years in project engineering or PM, preferably in industrial or biotech.
• Experience managing capital projects from design through commissioning.
• Experience in active operating facilities.
• Experience commissioning and turnover of building systems (HVAC, power, labs).
• Site walks, identifying field issues and supporting resolutions.
• Daily reports, photo documentation and progress tracking.
• Review safety docs with EHS teams.

Responsibilities

• Keep Project Director informed on progress, risks, and issues with mitigation.
• Review submissions from A&E firms, including MEP and structural drawings.
• Respond to RFIs, submittals, and clarifications.
• Assist with start-up and close-out checklists.
• Read and manage plans, contracts, subcontracts, PO, and shop drawings.
• Maintain complete as-built documentation.
• Support TOCC transfers to facilities operations.
• Use ProCore, E-Builder, Prolog for project control.
• Act as owner’s rep on capital projects, align with client goals.
• Develop and track schedules in MS Project.
• Participate in daily planning meetings and coordinate teams.
• Walk sites to verify progress and resolve issues.
• Prepare daily reports and progress measurements.
• Review safety docs and coordinate with EHS.
• Coordinate contractors and trades; support in active facilities.
• Assist with start-up, commissioning and handover of systems.
• Develop document control, metadata and QA processes.
• Set filing standards and ensure audit readiness.
• Drive continuous process improvement and training materials.
