Job summary

MW Building Systems, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects in Waipahu and across Oʻahu from preconstruction through closeout. You will own the budget, contract performance, and client reporting to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires strong technical judgment, leadership of field teams, and a track record of moving from field execution to project leadership. Full-time position with competitive compensation in the Honolulu area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive construction experience, including time as a Project Engineer.
• Experience in contract administration and budget/cost management.
• Ability to read plans and specs; strong technical grasp of construction methods.
• PMP or similar credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budget, cost control, and monthly owner billing.
• Prepare and submit monthly owner pay applications; review and approve subcontractor invoices and payment releases.
• Administer contracts — subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Provide technical direction on design interpretation and construction methods.
• Ensure project execution complies with contract and company requirements.
• Lead client and owner communication and reporting.
• Direct Superintendent and Project Engineer(s); oversee schedule and quality.
• Manage risk, procurement, and subcontractor performance.
• Familiar with estimating.
