Job summary

CFS in the Springfield, MA area is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead diverse industrial and mechanical projects from kickoff to closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, and resources while maintaining client relationships and ensuring on-time delivery.

This role offers a substantial salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 plus bonus, relocation assistance, and employer-paid health coverage. You'll work with engineering, field, and service teams in a fast-growing company delivering

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction, mechanical, industrial, or process system projects.
• Experience budgeting, scheduling, and full project lifecycle management.
• Experience with construction documents (drawings, RFIs, submittals, contracts).
• Exposure to industrial refrigeration, HVAC/R, piping, or related systems preferred.
• OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Manage schedules, subcontractors, materials, and internal resources.
• Oversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, billing, and change orders.
• Serve as the primary client contact and drive strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, construction, service) for seamless execution.
• Monitor project risks, quality, and safety compliance.
