Job summary

Rogers Hornsby is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead industrial construction projects from planning through completion. You will oversee multiple field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and partner with the Construction Manager to develop schedules and execution plans.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer satisfaction with opportunities for professional development and travel to active sites.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience developing and managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Ability to oversee multiple construction crews ranging from 5 to 50+ team members.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and field operations.
  • Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • General understanding of fabrication processes.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to jobsites for the duration of assigned projects.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Construction Manager to develop project schedules and execution plans.
  • Provide regular project updates and weekly progress reports to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and provide the information needed to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Monitor labor hours and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project performance and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure every project meets customer expectations while maintaining quality, safety, and budget objectives.
  • Verify compliance with OSHA standards and customer-specific safety requirements throughout each project.
