Job summary

ARCO National Holdings in Detroit, MI invites a motivated Project Manager to lead complex design/build construction initiatives. You will oversee estimates, schedules, safety, and coordination with owners and the design team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

This role requires 3–5 years of design/build experience, a BS in a related field, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• 3-5 years' design/build construction experience with a general contractor preferred.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review scope, discuss cost-saving ideas, and provide value engineering.
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to achieve results.
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes.
• Incorporate customer input to improve and meet/exceed client expectations.
• Act with integrity supporting the company values and ensuring client satisfaction.

A Day in the Life:

Necessary Qualifications:

• BS in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field; with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
