Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Atlanta, GA seeks a Construction Design/Build Project Manager to own projects from concept to completion. You will manage estimating, scheduling, design coordination, cost tracking and supplier relationships while driving value‑driven decisions.

You will partner with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions, lead site progress, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery with high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering (or related majors).
• Interest in design/build, tilt‑up concrete, and industrial builds.
• Prior construction experience preferred but not required.
• Good communication, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead every facet of the project from start to finish including estimating, scheduling, quality control, design coordination and cost tracking.
• Deliver accurate, detailed project estimates that support execution.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to translate concepts into buildable solutions.
• Participate in proposal meetings to refine scope and suggest value‑driven engineering insights.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout to secure strong partners.
• Facilitate bi‑weekly on‑site meetings to align teams and resolve challenges.
• Coordinate multiple moving parts to maintain scope, schedule and budget.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program (other related engineering majors will be considered)
• A strong interest in the construction process, specifically design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds, etc.
• Previous experience in construction preferred, but not required
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project
• Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
