Responsibilities include customer interface, client development, project scoping, estimating, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, safety oversight, cost and progress monitoring, management, and reporting. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee total construction effort to ensure project adherence to design, budget, and schedule, interfacing with various stakeholders
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and standards within corporate boundaries
  • Monitor and control construction through on-site supervision, ensuring schedule and budget compliance; investigate and correct serious issues; approve purchase requisitions and change requests
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards; interpret policies as needed
  • Maintain project documentation; assist with safety program implementation; provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering teams
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interests while maintaining good client relationships
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed by regional management

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in construction management/engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, design, finance, and management
  • Ability to apply innovative management techniques to maximize performance
  • Deep understanding of industry practices and standards; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; business-oriented mindset
  • Experience managing large-scale projects ($50M-$300M) in sectors like construction, electrical, manufacturing, technology, or infrastructure
  • Valid US driver’s license and passport; willingness to travel (~70%)

Ideally, also possess:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams
  • Knowledge of construction laws, standards, and safety standards
  • Proficiency in developing project strategies, plans, and budgets
