Provide overall administrative and technical direction for one large complex project. Responsibilities include customer interface, client development, project scoping, estimating, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, safety oversight, cost and progress monitoring, management, and reporting. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee total construction effort to ensure project completion according to design, budget, and schedule. Interface with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, end users, security, etc.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate boundaries. Coordinate activities of all personnel on the project(s).
  • Monitor and control construction through on-site supervision to ensure schedule and budget adherence; investigate serious issues and implement corrective measures. Approve purchase requisitions and change requests.
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and project policies and standards. Maintain project documentation and assist with safety program implementation.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interests and maintain good client relationships.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed by regional management.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year construction management/engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, design, finance, and management
  • Ability to apply management techniques to maximize performance
  • Understanding of industry practices, standards, and their impact on projects; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; business-oriented mindset
  • Experience managing large-scale projects, with budgets between $50M-$300M, in sectors like general construction, electrical, manufacturing, technology, or infrastructure
  • Valid US driver’s license and passport; willingness to travel (~70%)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proven leadership and mentorship abilities
  • Knowledge of construction laws, standards, and safety standards
  • Experience in developing project strategies, plans, and budgets
