Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting seeks a hands-on Project Manager to lead commercial construction and infrastructure projects from pre-construction through closeout in Chandler, AZ. This field-oriented role coordinates contractors and subs, manages scope, schedule, budget, materials, and client relationships onsite whenever not traveling.

Travel up to 50% for short trips; salary range from $92,000 to $135,000 negotiable plus a quarterly gain share opportunity.

Qualifications

• 2-7+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction, electrical construction, MEP, utilities, energy infrastructure, or similar field-based environments.
• Experience managing contractors, installation schedules, permitting, inspections, and project budgets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• PMP certification preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent construction and infrastructure projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead project execution, including permitting, inspections, commissioning, and final turnover. Manage procurement, material logistics, delivery schedules, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Resolve field issues, scope changes, and site challenges while maintaining project timelines. Maintain clear communication with clients and provide regular project updates.
• Prepare closeout documentation, including as-builts, commissioning reports, and project records.

Our client is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead commercial construction and infrastructure projects from pre-construction through closeout. Preferred Experience

• Electrical infrastructure, EV charging, renewable energy, utility, or commercial construction projects. Experience with commissioning, utility coordination, and multi-site project rollouts.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
