Job summary

Jobtailor in Denver seeks an experienced leader to manage construction self-perform work (SPW) projects. You will guide a team, oversee execution, and ensure cost control while coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders.

The role requires a strong background in construction management, 7 years of related experience, and the ability to drive process improvements and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification preferred.
• OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of SPW project individuals.
• Oversee end-to-end execution of SPW scopes.
• Collaborate with SPW project teams and address escalated issues.
• Oversee procurement of SPW materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors.
• Communicate SPW project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
• Evaluate project performance and implement corrective actions.
• Review project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference.
• Manage project costs, forecasting, budgets, contracts, and cost controls.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment and promote organizational values.
