Job summary

Synairgy Mechanical in Wailuku, Hawaii, is seeking a Project Manager to lead light commercial and residential HVAC projects from turnover to closeout. You will own the schedule, coordination, customer communication, and cost control to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec.

You will coordinate install crews, service support, vendors, and subcontractors, manage permits and inspections, and drive quality and closeout documentation while protecting gross margin.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC project management, install coordination, or operations.
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation workflows and field execution.
• Ability to manage multiple active jobs and deadlines without losing details.
• Professional customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with basic tech tools (Excel, email, scheduling software, field service platforms).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to job sites.
• Must be able to access attics, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, and rooftops when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects end-to-end: kickoff, planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
• Coordinate install crews, service support, vendors, and subcontractors as needed.
• Confirm equipment and materials are ordered, delivered, and staged before start dates.
• Be the main customer contact: set expectations, provide updates, and resolve issues fast.
• Track labor hours, materials, and job costs to protect gross margin.
• Manage permits, inspections, and documentation (photos, field notes, customer approvals).
• Conduct jobsite check-ins and quality control to reduce rework and callbacks.
• Drive punch lists, customer sign-off, and closeout package completion.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $70,000 to $90,000 base salary (DOE) plus performance pay
• 11 paid holidays
