Job summary

Redlands Plumbing, Heating & AC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Commercial Plumbing Construction in Redlands, CA. You will lead field crews and coordinate with contractors, owners, and engineers to keep projects moving safely and on schedule.

You will spend significant time on active job sites, ensuring quality workmanship while meeting budgets and timelines. A strong background in California plumbing codes and multi-project oversight is required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading commercial plumbing projects as a Commercial Plumbing Foreman.
  • Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and the California Plumbing Code.
  • Previous commercial plumbing project management experience preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Experience managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
  • Valid California driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee commercial plumbing projects from planning through final completion.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to foremen and field technicians.
  • Visit job sites regularly to evaluate quality, productivity, safety, and schedule progress.
  • Assist crews with field coordination, layout, and resolving installation challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, general contractors, engineers, inspectors, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Monitor project budgets, staffing levels, purchasing, schedules, and change orders.
  • Ensure all work complies with California plumbing codes, project specifications, and company standards.
  • Anticipate potential project issues and implement timely, effective solutions.
  • Maintain clear communication between office personnel, customers, and field teams.
  • Promote a culture centered on teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Project Manager - Commercial Plumbing Construction

We're seeking an experienced project manager to oversee commercial construction projects while providing strong leadership to field personnel.

This role is ideal for someone who prefers spending time on active job sites rather than sitting behind a desk. You'll work directly with crews, contractors, and customers to keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and performance.

Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 per year (based on experience)

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 6:00pm - 3:00pm
