Job summary

Danis is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from initiation through closeout in our Ohio operations. The role focuses on on-site, at-risk general contracting with healthcare, life sciences, and industrial segments.

The successful candidate will direct project teams, manage budgets, schedules, and safety programs while maintaining client relationships and ensuring high-quality builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience, especially self-perform, in healthcare, life sciences, or industrial sectors.
• At least 5 years of on-site, at-risk project management for $5–$10M in commercial/institutional work.
• Strong understanding of project processes and their impact on success.
• Financial acumen to manage budgets, profitability, and client relationships.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving to navigate complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead project objectives with the Project Executive and align with policies.
• Oversee construction to meet design, budget, and schedule; own project success.
• Lead meetings and guide planning, scheduling, and engineering; mentor engineers.
• Manage cost control, billing, change orders, and cash flow to maximize profitability.
• Ensure safety programs, maintain documentation, and deliver on time and on budget.
