Job summary

Willmeng Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead day-to-day execution of assigned projects, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and staff to deliver on time and within budget, while upholding Willmeng’s quality and safety standards.

You will develop schedules and budgets, review documents with architects and engineers, process payments, report progress to owners, and mentor the project team, including superintendents and subs, to foster a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Construction Engineering preferred or a BS in Engineering with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years project manager experience preferred.
• Experience with estimating and conceptual estimating.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with potential clients.
• Proficient in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, and Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures while monitoring project costs and profitability.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical issues and maintain momentum.
• Process and manage subcontractor payments, change orders, and monthly cost reporting.
• Serve as primary contact for project owners, leading meetings and providing status updates.
• Supervise and mentor project team members, including superintendents and subcontractors.
• Review construction documents to ensure safety compliance and quality.
• Manage project documentation, permits, inspections, and closeout activities.
