LeoForce in Sacramento, CA seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager (Core and Shell) to lead large-scale commercial projects from conception to completion. You will coordinate teams, review blueprints, control costs, and negotiate contracts to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in commercial construction, a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, and proven success managing projects of $50M–$100M+.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they adhere to quality standards, deadlines, and budget.
• Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications to determine the appropriate construction methods.
• Develop and implement project work plans and make revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Manage project budget and schedule including tracking and controlling construction costs to avoid cost overruns.
• Conduct contract negotiations with clients, architects, and subcontractors to secure the best possible terms.
• Identify and analyze risks associated with the project, develop risk mitigation strategies and manage the implementation of risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with construction safety rules and regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Lead and manage the project team, fostering a collaborative environment and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a skilled individual who can lead teams, read blueprints, control costs, negotiate contracts, manage risks, and uphold the highest standards of construction safety.

Requirements/Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-10+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the Commercial Construction Industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, OR related working experience.
• Experience managing Large Projects (between $50M-$100M or higher) required.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Proven experience in cost control and contract negotiation.
• In-depth understanding of construction risk management.
• Strong commitment to construction safety practices.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software (Procore desired).
