Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Mid-Level Construction Project Manager for Bay Area commercial projects. Lead full lifecycle management from pre-construction through close-out, coordinating schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Strong estimating skills with emphasis on building trades and MEP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software like MS Project/Primavera.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full project lifecycle for commercial construction projects in the Bay Area, including schedules, quality control, and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead pre-construction efforts: coordinate job walks, prepare RFPs, analyze subcontractor proposals, bid tabulations, quantity take-offs, and constructability reviews.
  • Oversee cost control: track/change orders, prepare owner billings, route invoices, and close out finances.
  • Maintain document control: manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, update master drawings, and distribute docs.
  • Develop and monitor master schedules and 3-week rolling schedules; identify impacts and solutions.
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings and participate in OAC meetings; prepare minutes.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate project teams including Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Administrators.
  • Apply knowledge of building trades, methods, materials, and MEP systems to resolve field issues and review submittals.
  • Support safety initiatives, site safety plans, and job hazard analyses.
  • Coordinate with estimating on budgets, bid reviews, and value engineering opportunities.
  • Build strong client relationships for long-term partnerships and excellent customer service.

Job Details / Responsibilities
  • Manage full project lifecycle for commercial construction projects across the Bay Area, including schedules, quality control, and stakeholder communication (owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors)
  • Lead pre‑construction efforts: coordinate job walks, prepare RFPs, analyze subcontractor proposals, generate bid tabulations, produce quantity take‑offs, and contribute to constructability reviews
  • Oversee cost control: track and manage change orders, prepare owner billings, route invoices, and execute financial close‑out
  • Maintain document control: manage RFI, submittal, and change order logs; update master drawing sets; distribute project documentation
  • Develop, monitor, and update master schedules and 3‑week rolling schedules; identify impacts and solutions
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings and participate in OAC meetings; prepare and distribute meeting minutes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software (MS Project and/or Primavera), accounting systems, and estimating software
  • Preferred: LEED AP; working knowledge of cGMP, GLP, advanced technology facilities, and best industry practices for design and construction
