Job summary

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection projects from our Tallahassee, FL office.

The incumbent will oversee field engineering, data analysis, reporting, and client consultations while coordinating with team members to meet project goals and timelines. A 5+ year background in CM testing is required, with certifications a plus. Excellent benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction materials testing and/or special inspections is required.
• Field engineering duties include data reduction, analysis and fieldwork for multiple project types.
• ACI, ICC or related certifications are a plus; Metafield experience is a plus.
• B.S. Civil Engineering degree is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis and fieldwork for CM testing/inspection.
• Assist with project management and reporting.
• Conduct field inspection, sampling and testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Prepare reports and consult with clients to maintain relationships.
• Collaborate with NOVA team members to support company objectives.

• Field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects (Construction Materials Testing/Inspection)
• Assisting with project management & reporting
• Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Report preparation
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.

The preferred candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in construction materials testing and/or special inspections is required
• ACI, ICC or other related certifications a plus
• Metafield experience a plus
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering a plus (not required)
