Job summary

NOVA Engineering is hiring a Staff Engineer to work on Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects from the Tallahassee, FL office. Primary duties include data reduction, analysis and fieldwork for diverse projects, along with project management support and reporting.

Field inspection, sampling and testing of soils, concrete and related materials are key responsibilities. The 80/20 split favors fieldwork with occasional travel, and EIT is preferred or obtainable within 3

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply.
• EIT is preferred, or ability to obtain in 3 months.
• 0-1 years Construction Materials experience preferred, not required.
• Position entails approximately 80% fieldwork and 20% office with occasional travel.

NOVA Engineering is hiring a Staff Engineerto work on Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects based from our Tallahassee, FL office.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Staff engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects (both Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing/Inspection)
• Assisting with project management & reporting
• Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Report preparation
• Client consultation and maintenance

The preferred candidate will have:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering is required
• Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply!
