Job summary

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Project Manager to lead Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection projects from our local office.

You will oversee field engineering activities, manage clients and reporting, coordinate soil, concrete and masonry testing, and support team members to achieve project goals. A background in CMTS and relevant certifications is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction materials testing and/or special inspections.
• ACI, ICC or other related certifications are a plus.
• Metafield experience is a plus.
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for CMTS/Inspection projects.
• Assisting with project management & reporting
• Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Report preparation
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.

• Assisting with project management & reporting
• Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Report preparation
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.

The preferred candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in construction materials testing and/or special inspections is required
• ACI, ICC or other related certifications a plus
• Metafield experience a plus
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering a plus (not required)
