Jobot is seeking a Project Manager Civil Engineer for land/site development in Riverside, in a hybrid role with growth potential.

You will lead business development, oversee design of grading, utilities, drainage, manage staff, budgeting, scheduling and client contracts, and assist with entitlements.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, California PE, and 3+ years as PM in civil design for private development; relocation is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration (PE) as Civil Engineer in California.
• Minimum 3+ years' project management experience in civil design for private development, facilities, infrastructure and public works.
• Ability to manage multi-discipline projects, clients and staff; set fees; negotiate contracts and prepare proposals.
• Experience delivering projects for private developers in Southern California and surrounding municipalities.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts and pursuit planning.
• Provide technical oversight and review of existing project activities.
• Design experience in grading, utilities, low impact development, drainage and public improvements.
• Manage staff, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating.

Project Manager Civil Engineer - Land/Site Development - Riverside Location

Responsibilities:

• Leading business development efforts and pursuit planning
• Providing technical oversight and review of existing project activities
• Design experience focused on grading, utilities, low impact development, drainage and public improvements
• Managing staff, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating
• Reviewing client service needs and contracts

Education/Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration (PE license) as a Civil Engineer in the state of California
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a project manager in civil engineering design with private development, facilities, infrastructure and public works design projects
• Ability to manage multi-discipline engineering projects, clients and staff; set fees and negotiate contracts including: prepare and deliver presentations; write proposals; respond to RFPs and RFQs, and project invoicing
• Prior experience delivering projects for private developers in Southern California and surrounding area municipalities, agencies and institutions
• Expert technical knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
