An established planning and engineering firm is seeking a Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to join its growing Planning and Site Design Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven civil engineer with site design experience to lead a wide variety of projects — from multi-use developments to educational and commercial sites.
As a Project Manager, you'll take the reins on project execution, mentor junior staff, lead client and municipal meetings, and provide hands-on design work using Civil 3D.
Position: Project Manager (Civil Engineer)
Experience Level: 5–10+ years
Salary: $85,000–$110,000 (commensurate with experience)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full lifecycle of civil/site projects from concept through approval
Perform hands-on design and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Manage grading, utility layout, erosion/sediment control, and stormwater design
Conduct site investigations and ensure zoning/NPDES compliance
Communicate directly with clients, contractors, and municipal officials
Attend and present at client and public meetings
Supervise and coordinate with junior engineers and design staff
Requirements:
EIT required, PA PE preferred
5–10+ years of civil/site design experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong technical knowledge of land development design and permitting
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Able to manage multiple deadlines and work independently or collaboratively
