We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and manage capital projects within the cement industry. This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle from feasibility studies to execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of industrial project delivery and will be committed to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead feasibility studies, including the development of capital cost estimates, project schedules, and technical solutions that maximize return on investment.
  • Develop and evaluate engineering concepts; coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on detailed design and permitting activities.
  • Define scopes of work and supply in partnership with Corporate and Business Unit procurement teams for equipment, construction, and installation.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals with a focus on life cycle cost, reliability, maintainability, and total cost of ownership.
  • Oversee project execution, including permitting, construction, installation, commissioning, and startup.
  • Monitor and report on project performance (cost, schedule, quality), providing clear updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery remains on track.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across capital project delivery and execution standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing capital projects in a cement plant environment.
Core Capabilities
  • Strong understanding of industrial project delivery across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar).
  • Knowledge of BIM 360, Navisworks, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cement manufacturing processes, equipment, and key vendors preferred.
  • Experience in terminal (import/export) construction is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects independently while influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
