Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Project Manager to lead facilities and capital projects from planning to completion. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in Architectural Design, Renovation, or Construction Management.
As a Project Manager, you'll coordinate construction activities, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
The Enterprise Physical Operations, Infrastructure, Capital Programs & Real Estate (EPO) department at WashU provides integrated operational, infrastructure, planning, and facility services that support the university’s mission of excellence in education, research, patient care, and community engagement. Project Managers support and lead facilities and capital projects from early planning through completion, ensuring alignment with departmental project delivery processes and institutional priorities. Serving as the owner’s representative, they coordinate construction activities and designs, gather and refine project requirements, and maintain thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Architectural Design, Design/Build, Renovation, Space Planning, and/or Construction Management – 3 years.

Base pay is commensurate with experience. The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by qualifications, performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade, and department budget.
