Job Overview

Local to the Tempe, AZ Metropolitan Area. Monday‑Friday 8:00AM‑5:00PM. Responsible for planning and managing multiple projects through their entire life cycle, executing within an approved Statement of Work (SOW) and PMO project delivery methodology. Leads Professional Services teams in design, planning, management, implementation, and delivery of technology solutions on time, within budget, and with exceptional customer service. Primary activities include project management, internal and external communications, project cost management, and interfacing with client and internal technical project teams. Projects involve IT Professional Services infrastructure deployments focused on Low‑Voltage Cabling, Audio‑Visual, Unified Communications, Networking, Security/Threat Management, and/or Data Center builds.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct day‑to‑day activities of assigned engagements and record essential project activity and status information.
• Communicate, exhibit exceptional leadership behaviors, and manage effective delivery of services and processes.
• Conduct project planning, execution, controlling, and closing activities in accordance with Logicalis Project Management Methodology.
• Oversee third‑party vendors’ or partners’ deliverables in coordination with vendor Project Managers.
• Manage scope, change, resource, budget, schedule, risk/issue, communications, and quality throughout the engagement.
• Develop and maintain master project plans, track actual performance versus planned performance, analyze variances, and take corrective action to maintain schedule adherence.
• Apply continuous risk management protocols, identify and document known risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop communication plans to define cadence and content for project meetings, status reporting, escalation management, and deliverables to customers, stakeholders, and the project team.
• Ensure deliverables are substantiated, validated, and provided to the customer per terms of the SOW and that the customer is satisfied with the services provided.
• Document and share lessons learned to support continuous process improvement.
• Promote an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis and demonstrate behaviors consistent with the organization’s values.
• Maintain working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations and Logicalis policies and procedures to ensure adherence with honesty, ethics, and professionalism.
• Support and conduct self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and formal Project Management Training (preferred); or Associate’s Degree in a related field with extensive experience in IT and/or Low‑Voltage Cabling.
• Experience: 5 years project management and/or Technical Team Lead experience in IT Professional Services infrastructure deployments focused on Low‑Voltage Cabling, Audio‑Visual, Unified Communications, Networking, Security/Threat Management, and/or Data Center builds.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project and experience working within Project, Project Portfolio, or Workforce Management systems.
• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP); CAPM, ITIL, and/or technical certifications.
• Skills: Ability to manage through high level of ambiguity, handle multiple projects concurrently, balance client and resource needs, communicate professionally, and engage customers at a business level.
