Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to lead a team of 5–10 project professionals delivering complex IT infrastructure projects for external clients in Tempe, AZ. This on-site role combines team leadership, portfolio oversight and hands-on project management.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and occasional site visits. Strong experience with low-voltage cabling, AV, networking and data center projects preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure project/program management experience for external clients.
• Experience leading project teams and managing project financials.
• Experience delivering IT infrastructure/build projects (low-voltage cabling, AV, security) is preferred.
• Construction industry experience with coordination with general contractors and understanding drawings.

We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to lead a team of 5–10 project management professionals delivering complex IT infrastructure projects for external clients. This role combines team leadership, project portfolio oversight and hands‑on management of select projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support Project Managers, Associate PMs and Project Coordinators.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, profitability, resources, risks and quality.
• Ensure projects follow approved Statements of Work (SOWs) and PMO delivery standards.
• Coordinate with clients, Sales, Professional Services, vendors, general contractors and other trades.
• Communicate project status, address issues and manage changes to scope.
• Improve PMO processes and directly manage select projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure project/program management experience, managing multiple projects for external clients in a professional services or consulting environment.
• Experience leading project teams and managing project financials.
• Experience delivering low-voltage cabling, audiovisual (AV) or electronic security projects preferred; wireless, networking, unified communications or data center experience also relevant.
• Construction industry experience, including coordination with general contractors and familiarity with construction drawings for new builds and tenant improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and project/portfolio or workforce management systems. Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/CertificationsEquivalent combination accepted.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Project Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, client relationship and problem‑solving skills.

This position is an office-based role in Tempe Arizona, M-F, 8:00 – 5:00pm

Site Visits

• Occasional construction-site visits require a hard hat, safety eyewear and steel-toed footwear.
