Project Manager / Business Analyst, Marketing

Our marketing team is growing, and we are looking for a talented individual to be the next Marketing Technology Project Manager to lead our marketing department into uncharted territory! As the Marketing Technology Project Manager, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements, providing overall direction, coordination, execution, and completion of specific projects—all while ensuring consistency with Bright Horizons' strategy and goals.
What you will be doing:
- Serve as a communication bridge between Subject Matter Experts, Business Stakeholders, and developers to facilitate understanding of initial requirements, questions, and changes across these groups.
- Understand initiatives to facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, deliverables, and create project documents and work plans.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and meetings.
- Monitor, report, and follow-up on the status and next steps of all project components.
- Identify, adjust for, and communicate downstream impacts of project changes.
- Navigate project changes effectively, remove barriers, and coordinate with cross-functional project team members.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Apply Bright Horizons IT Project methodology and enforce project standards.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Participate in system rollout or training documentation/delivery as needed.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain business process flows and user flows, ensuring adequate representation of business procedures.
- Document quality measures to ensure project success.
- Create test plans and test cases from requirements.
- Coordinate testing with Quality Assurance resources.
- Capture and maintain accurate records of testing results and obtain sign-off of completeness.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing.
- Tailor communication strategies to match the needs of specific business groups and ensure clear, audience-appropriate materials.
- Incorporate feedback from Subject Matter Experts into functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and project plans.
Minimum qualifications:
- 3+ years of technology project experience
- Strong business analysis skills and experience
- Ability to stay organized and elicit cooperation from various sources
- Leadership skills to motivate and direct cross-functional teams, with flexibility in changing environments
- Effective prioritization and task execution under high pressure
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience managing all phases of the software development project lifecycle
- Proven track record of multitasking, meeting deadlines, and delivering projects on time
