Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Must have experience working for a marketing or creative agency supporting end clients in software or technology space.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager, Design plays a key role in driving operational excellence across design initiatives. You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of digital projects, coordinating schedules, managing resources, facilitating workshops, and ensuring cross-functional alignment. Working closely with UX and visual designers, specialists, and product owners, you’ll define project scope and success measures, facilitate backlog reviews, and keep work prioritized and on track. You’ll run daily standups, track deliverables and dependencies via dashboards, and provide clear, measurable updates on progress, blockers, and risks. You’ll proactively identify risks and develop solutions to de-risk delivery, escalating where needed. With a strong foundation in Agile practices, you’ll drive projects to completion, on time, within scope, and within budget, while fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment across international teams and vendors.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Coordinate schedules and resources across projects.
  • Organize workshops to drive alignment and innovation.
  • Ensure resources are allocated appropriately and adjust plans as needed.
  • Set up backlog reviews with stakeholders to prioritize work and track progress.
  • Provide regular reports on project status, highlighting progress, risks, and blockers.
  • Lead daily standups and ensure effective team communication and accountability.
  • Identify project risks early and develop solutions to de-risk projects.
  • Escalate issues promptly to ensure they are resolved without delay.
  • Support the team in achieving key milestones and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain clear documentation and dashboards to track deliverables and dependencies.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
What You Bring to The Team
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience: Bachelor\'s degree or relevant industry experience.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience managing complex projects for enterprise organizations with distributed, remote teams across multiple time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
  • Familiarity with UX principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Accurate, systematic, and methodical working style with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels confidently, including C-suite executives.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, mediation, and team-building skills, possessing diplomacy and business judgment.
  • High curiosity, drive, determination, and persuasion skills.
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and evolving project needs.
Technical requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
  • Experience using digital workflow/project management software (e.g. ClickUp, ADO).
  • Experience using design and collaboration tools such as Miro, Figma, etc.
