Cityscape Recruitment client in Maryland seeks a Project Manager with 5 years of commercial construction experience, focused on higher education and renovation projects. You will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with field teams, architects, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery.

You will manage schedules and budgets, monitor costs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Approximately 5 years of commercial construction experience.
• Proven experience managing higher education and renovation projects.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination understanding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day project operations from kick-off through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Support project scheduling, procurement, and site coordination.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and project costs.
• Track procurement and material delivery timelines.
• Review subcontractor invoices and pay applications.

ABOUT THE ROLE

My client is seeking a Project Manager with experience delivering higher education and renovation projects to join their team in Baltimore, MD. This individual will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout while coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, architects, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Manage day-to-day project operations from kick-off through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Support project scheduling, procurement, and site coordination
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

Cost & Schedule Management

• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and project costs
• Track procurement and material delivery timelines

Leadership & Communication
