Job summary

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Crawfordsville District is seeking a project management professional to lead projects from planning through closeout. You will ensure scope, schedule, budget, and compliance with quality and policy standards while coordinating with design and construction teams.

Ideal candidates will have four or more years of project management experience, strong stakeholder communication skills, and familiarity with environmental and ROW requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of project management experience in a similar role.
• Ability to manage projects of moderate complexity and dollar value (generally <$5.0 million).
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to plan scope and schedule per the project development process.
• Ability to establish and manage project budgets and understand financial implications.
• Knowledge of rural, suburban and urban project standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through all phases to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure INDOT’s quality, financial, risk management and policy expectations are met.
• Review overall work progress and technical performance of the project.
• Communicate project delivery efforts to ensure success.
• Review and understand functional requirements to set clear expectations.
• Facilitate cross-functional engagement with design and construction.
