Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related field.
• 8 years' minimum experience with roadway/highway geometric design.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana.
• Proficient knowledge of OpenRoads (preferred) and/or Civil3D.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mentor staff and lead teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Planning, design, and project management of moderate to complex transportation projects.
• Design and engineering work focused on INDOT projects across the state.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary bridge, drainage, and traffic teams.
• Provide leadership in staff development and growth in Indianapolis operations.
• Drive project development and pursue surface transportation work.
• Engage clients, agencies and professionals in the transportation industry.
