Job summary

Atwell, LLC in the United States seeks an Associate Project Manager to lead client communications, assemble project teams, and drive profitability. You will manage timeframes, budgets, and staffing while upholding Atwell standards and quality manuals.

The role emphasizes mentoring, business development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration in civil/environmental land planning. A PE/RLA/AICP/CPG/PS license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Land Planning, Land Surveying, or equivalent.
• Professional License (PE, RLA, AICP, CPG, PS) is preferred.
• 4–8 years in civil engineering, environmental, land planning, survey or related field.
• Experience with private land development deadlines and expectations.
• Experience designing residential and commercial land development projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with hydrology reports.
• Experience mentoring and supervising other employees.

Responsibilities

• Implement the project plan and assist the Project Manager to determine timeframes, budgets, staffing, and schedule.
• Assure work product by analyzing design, client requirements, and performance standards.
• Monitor project status, collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends; intervene as needed.
• Develop future business with marketing support, proposals follow-up, and client relationships.
• Ensure project team performance with coaching, planning, and communication; coordinate recruiting as needed.
• Maintain project files and ensure quality per Atwell standards and manuals.
• Advance professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking.
• Meet or exceed chargeability and hours; apply engineering/environmental/land planning concepts.
