Job summary

AlphaX seeks a Project Manager to own architecture and engineering design projects from kickoff through permitting and construction within a full‑service design firm. You will lead scope, schedules, budgets, and client communications, guiding architects, engineers, and outside consultants through the design process to deliverables.

You will resolve scope conflicts early, keep multidisciplinary teams aligned, and ensure projects progress toward completion with direct accountability for execution

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing professional design projects from kickoff through permitting and construction.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, or multidisciplinary design environments.
• Demonstrated ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and client communication.
• Experience leading architects, engineers, and outside consultants through reviews and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of design workflows, permitting processes, and construction coordination.
• Proven ability to identify scope conflicts, resolve issues, and keep teams aligned to deadlines.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to manage expectations throughout the lifecycle.
• Direct project management and delivery experience, not just coordination.

We are looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of architecture and engineering design projects from kickoff through permitting and construction, working within a full-service professional design firm environment. This role leads project scope, schedules, budgets, client communication, and deliverables while guiding architects, engineers, and outside consultants through the design process. The Project Manager will help resolve scope conflicts early, keep multidisciplinary teams aligned, and ensure projects move efficiently toward completion. This is a hands‑on project leadership position with direct responsibility for execution and client delivery.
