Job summary

HGA is seeking a design-sensitive Project Manager for the CWG team in Milwaukee, WI. You will guide projects from conception through completion, coordinating with a broad team of architects, engineers, and consultants.

The role requires 10+ years of project management experience on complex projects, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and proficiency with Vision and MS Project. Office is three days per week, with a rewarding bonus program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• Licensed professional preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience on increasingly complex projects.
• Ability to manage multiple smaller- to mid-sized projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and leadership with clients and team.
• Proficiency with industry accepted software and Microsoft Office products; experience with Vision and MS Project is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Principal to evaluate project requirements and negotiate owner-architect agreement including fee, scope and time schedule.
• Demonstrate mastery of project scope, schedule, budget and profitability.
• Complete projects on schedule, within budget and with maximum client satisfaction.
• Manage a program of multiple projects and client relationships effectively.
• Negotiate issues with Owner, Contractor, Architects, Engineers and Specialty Consultants.
• Supervise production of architectural construction documents for multiple small renovation projects.
• Lead a full-service architectural and engineering team to deliver quality documents, specs, reports and cost estimates within schedules and budgets.
• Develop discipline cost and work-hour budgets for each project and monitor costs and progress against budgets.
• Oversee all correspondence and ensure accuracy; obtain signatures and involve legal counsel as needed.
• Coordinate review and evaluation of contractor bids and assist Principal with award recommendations.
