Job summary

MassMutual is seeking a Project Manager in Data Science & AI Engineering to lead delivery of AI and data-driven solutions, coordinating with data scientists, AI engineers, and product managers to drive impact. You will manage scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent projects.

You will partner with analytics and product teams to translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans, lead agile ceremonies, and ensure successful execution across diverse teams

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
8+ years in technical field (academic, research, or professional).
4+ years managing technical projects in Agile environments.
2+ years managing complex technical projects.

Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of a portfolio of AI and data science projects from planning through implementation.
Coordinate across technical and non-technical teams to manage dependencies and requirements clarity.
Lead agile ceremonies (scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives) and drive accountability.
Translate AI capabilities into actionable project requirements for stakeholders.
Manage budget, timelines, scope, and stakeholder expectations; identify risks and mitigation strategies.
