State of Idaho – Department of Administration is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects for state agencies based in Boise. You will manage budgets, RFQs, design and construction, and coordinate with design professionals and contractors to meet project goals and timelines.
Candidates should have strong relationships with customers and leadership, experience in contract development, and the ability to deliver projects within budget and on schedule.
This position will be based in Boise.

The Department of Administration, Division of Public Works, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage construction projects for state agencies. At the Department of Administration, be prepared to feel important, needed, and surrounded by great people!
The ideal candidate will have experience developing and promoting positive relationships with customers, peers and agency leadership while effectively managing a large project portfolio. This position is responsible for administering project budgets and documentation, authoring and facilitating Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), overseeing design and construction, and reviewing the work of design professionals and contractors.
We serve Idaho by promoting responsible government through expert customer support.
-Typically met by at least one year of experience managing projects with at least one year in a leadership role. Experience must have included being responsible for the development (needs assessment, planning and budgeting) of the projects as well as being responsible for assessing the projects toward goals and project outcomes.
-Typically met by at least one year of experience that required the interpretation of specialized or complex material such as laws, policies, procedures, rules or related material with this material being analyzed and communicated to stakeholders in various formats indicating that they had a use for the material and that it was understandable.
-Typically met by at least one year of experience preparing contracts including assessing and determining program needs and funding, identifying goals and establishing timelines, and negotiating terms and conditions OR at least one year of experience providing technical assistance in all aspects of contract development.
