Job summary

Highridge Medical in Westminster, CO seeks a part-time Project Manager to lead new product development and production transfer efforts in a regulated medical device environment.

You will guide cross-functional teams, manage phase gates, train core team members, and deliver timely, commercially viable projects aligned with the business strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in an analytical field required.
  • 6–8 years experience in new product development.
  • Experience working in a medical device regulated environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Experience managing a functional area within Brand Management, Product Development, Finance or Operations is preferred.
  • Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be the process expert for portfolio management by incorporating and supporting processes and tools used to identify, prioritize and select opportunities for optimal portfolio value and strategic alignment.
  • Monitors NPD and transfer activity and provides monthly updates to management on project status via report or online dashboard.
  • Lead the development of Core Team Members and Core Team Leaders through training for project management and leadership skills.
  • Collect and analyze performance of NPD and production transfer efforts with key metrics and reporting.
  • Schedule, manage and document Phase Reviews to ensure timely development and commercialization aligned with business strategy and supply chain value.
  • Lead selected core teams as directed by operations transformation team.

Project Manager

Note: This is a part-time in office position based out of Westminster Colorado.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Be the process expert by being responsible for incorporating, supporting, training and improving methodologies.
  • Be the process expert for portfolio management by incorporating and supporting processes and tools that are used to identify, prioritize and select opportunities/projects for optimal portfolio value and strategic alignment.
  • Monitors NPD and transfer activity and provides or facilitates monthly updates to management on the status of projects via a report or online dashboard.
  • Lead the development of Core Team Members and Core Team Leaders by sponsoring or providing necessary training for the further development of their project management and leadership skills.
  • Collect and analyze the performance of the new product development and production transfer efforts by collecting data for key metrics and reporting out the performance.
  • Schedule, manage and document and be an active participant in the Phase Reviews to ensure the timely development and commercialization of products that are aligned with the business strategy and provide optimal portfolio and supply chain value.
  • Leads selected core teams as directed by the operations transformation team.

Education/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in an analytical field or related science required
  • 6-8 years experience in new product development required
  • Experience working in a medical device regulated environment
  • Experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Experience managing a functional area within Brand Management, Product Development, Finance or Operations is preferred, with demonstrated results-oriented performance.
  • Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) is preferred.
