Job summary

Planet Pharma in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior PMO Project Manager to coordinate planning, track milestones, manage documentation, and support governance reviews for the NPI portfolio. Job description

This role will support the PMO organization and NPI portfolio by coordinating project planning, tracking execution against key milestones, managing project documentation, facilitating cross‑functional communication, supporting governance reviews, and developing status reporting for leadership. Day‑to‑day activities include schedule management, risk and issue tracking, resource coordination, meeting facilitation, and preparation of executive‑level project updates.

  • Project management and scheduling (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)
  • Data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power BI)
  • Cross‑functional project coordination and governance support

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

Years’ Experience Required: 5‑8+ years of project/program management experience, preferably supporting medical device development or regulated product development.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Oversees operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross‑functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Reviews status of projects and budgets; and prepares status reports. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization. Requires a University Degree and minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
