Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Program Manager in Colorado to lead cross‑functional teams through the product development lifecycle, coordinating schedules, milestones and budget adherence to deliver innovative medical device technologies. You will drive alignment across stakeholders and regulators, ensuring timely, compliant commercial launches.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of Program management experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of Program Management experience.
  • Has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management (Nice to Have)
  • MBA and/or PMP / CSM Certification (Nice to Have)
  • High degree of competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) (Nice to Have)
  • Proven track record of successfully managing within a matrixed organization (Nice to Have)
  • Knowledge in product development, project management, and commercialization in the medical device industry (Nice to Have)
  • Must be able to lead cross‑functional discussions; driving towards alignment, decisions, resolutions when necessary (Nice to Have)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once while understanding cultural differences between various regions of the world (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with software and AI solutions (Nice to Have)
  • Experience working under regulations of the FDA, notified bodies, and other regulatory agencies for successful commercial launches (Nice to Have)
  • Product launch experience working with Global teams (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with SAFe/Agile software development practices (Nice to Have)

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross‑functional teams through the Product Development Process to deliver new technologies to customers and serve patients.
  • Ensure program teams are efficient, effective, and well-coordinated.
  • Focus on clear priorities, milestones, and goals.
  • Committed to developing and adhering to schedules.
  • Vigilant in managing budgets, including labor resources, and managing risks.
  • Dedicated to delivering quality commercial releases in compliance with established processes.
  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Develop and monitor schedules, plans, tasks, and priorities, ensuring a streamlined workflow.
  • Drive problem‑solving sessions, maintaining a sense of urgency and holding team members accountable to commitments.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, balancing time, schedule, cost, and quality while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting and tracking of accruals and actuals.
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
  • Monitor the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client‑satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and external partners.
  • Accountable for ensuring that the Core Team(s) achieve contracted commitments and performance metrics.
  • Gather requirements, work on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and obtain engagement to ensure end products or processes will solve business problems.
