Job summary

Kelly Science and Clinical FSP is seeking a Project Manager for Business Split Transfer & Implementation to oversee strategic transfer and implementation of a new business split. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate critical activities, and ensure seamless integration across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of project management experience in healthcare or regulated environments, with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5-8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within healthcare, medical, or organizational transformation and regulated environments.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen, with proven experience navigating complex organizational structures and implementing large-scale business solutions.
  • Expertise in project management software, including Smartsheet and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Medical Business Partners and stakeholder groups, including R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality & Regulatory Compliance, Pre-Clinical, Health Economics & Market Access, and Professional Medical Education, to ensure alignment and continuity throughout the business split process.
  • Independently drive project execution, providing direction and oversight to both team members and senior leaders, while implementing enterprise-level business solutions that support the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Guide subject matter experts (SMEs) through the development, management, and tracking of comprehensive project plans encompassing transfer, integration, and implementation tasks.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through detailed analysis, scenario planning, risk assessment, and option evaluation to develop actionable recommendations for business split activities.
  • Foster team accountability for deliverables, milestones, and defined project breakthroughs; monitor project progress and celebrate issues as needed.
  • Champion effective team performance management by proactively identifying business impacts, resource needs, and potential risks associated with the business split.
  • Facilitate healthy debate, conflict resolution, and consensus-building within project teams to arrive at the most effective and aligned business solutions.
  • Oversee prioritization of project tasks and options analysis, engaging both project teams and executive leadership to ensure optimal resource utilization and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop, maintain, and regularly update project timelines, including all critical milestones, key interdependencies, financial commitments, and resource constraints; apply advanced project scheduling techniques and tools, such as Smartsheet and Microsoft Project.

Kelly Science and Clinical FSP is currently seeking a Project Manager - Business Split Transfer & Implementation for a long-term engagement with one of our Global Pharmaceutical clients. This person will join our Kelly FSP (Functional Service Provider) division, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc. Project Manager – Business Split Transfer & Implementation

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic transfer and implementation of a new business split.
