Our consulting client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a 4-month contract with the potential for extension. This position is 40 hours a week, fully remote and will work on EST. You will be tasked with managing projects across 3 clients. There is the potential of travel to DC up to once a month during the assignment.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience developing project roadmaps, managing project deadlines, managing resources, and providing client status reports. You should have a strong understanding of media relations and omnichannel communications campaigns.
Duties Of Project Manager
- Scope new campaigns, project deliverables, etc
- Intake projects and adjustments to scope
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules and timelines
- Work closely with the accounts team to determine the project needs and develop actionable requirements to meet the project scope and campaign requirements
- Manage resources to ensure appropriate allocation to complete
- Ensure projects are meeting milestones and escalate roadblocks/concerns as needed
- Manage and develop relationships with key stakeholders
- Attend client meetings to provide project status updates
- Provide regular reports on project progress, schedules and scope
Requirements Of The Project Manager
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex projects - specifically in media relations and communications campaigns.
- Experience managing complex projects for ominchannel communications and marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of website development is a preferred
- Experience scoping complex projects
- Experience developing project plans, managing resources, and deadlines
- Experience working directly with clients is a plus
- Experience working with Asana
- Experience implementing a project roadmap once a project is already underway
- You must have agency or consulting experience
- PMP is preferred
