Job summary

QualX Corporation seeks a Project Manager in Washington, DC to lead a team of contractor personnel and manage complex contract operations. The role focuses on planning, directing deliverables, and maintaining tight schedule and cost control.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of program/project management support experience, including contractor supervision and on-site coordination. This is a full-time on-site position in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred in a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in program/project management support including supervising contractor personnel.
• On-site supervision and scheduling of contractor personnel.
• Ability to coordinate training for new contractor personnel and complete mandatory GAO training.

• Delegates responsibilities and oversees successful task completion
• Must acknowledge communications as soon as possible, with responses provided within 24 hours (during normal business hours)

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred related field)
• 5+ years program/project management support experience including but not limited to the following activities:
  • Day-to-day supervision and management of Contractor personnel and assignments.
  • On-site supervision for Contractor personnel.
  • Coordination of on-the-job training for new Contractor personnel as applicable.
  • Periodic training of Contractor personnel to include responsibility for completing all required training o mandated for GAO Contractors.
  • Scheduling of Contractor personnel.
  • On-site quality control of work performed by Contractor personnel
